Joining the Association


Randwick City Tourism Inc. was established in 1990.

The prime objective of the group is to promote Randwick City with its accessibility, temperate climate and wonderful natural assets, as a recognised tourist destination. Tourism is a major world industry and a significant contributor to employment and prosperity of a region.

Randwick City Tourism Inc. (RCTI) incorporated as a non-profit organisation, is a member of the NSW Council of Tourist Associations and has active links with Sydney Tourism.

The group gets significant support from Randwick City Council.

The Executive of RCTI is elected annually at the Annual General Meeting each November. Executive members meet monthly and serve on a voluntary basis.

RCTI is committed to working with the Council and other groups to ensure that management of the tourism industry is environmentally, socially and economically responsible

Generating Business

The prime task is to have Randwick City widely recognised as a desirable destination for overseas and domestic tourists as well as Sydney day-trippers. Having attracted visitors we then need to do all we can to make the visit an enjoyable experience; one they will want to repeat and tell their friends about.

Why Join?

You need to be a financial member of RCTI to obtain the benefits and exposure provided by the promotional materials; to have access to industry information and a library of tourism photo images and to be listed in publications and promotional material including the increasingly popular website.

Naturally, the stronger the organization becomes the more effective it can be in achieving its aims with benefits flowing on to the members. Further, the importance of a strong and active membership is obvious when it comes to gaining support from Council and governments at all levels.
